The past few months I have been living in Union, Maine and Portland, OR, camping, white water rafting, hiking, biking. Now I’m officially saying goodbye to Philly and moving to Portland, Maine…..the other Portland!

New Patterns
I bought a bunch of vintage patterns on etsy and the first batch came today!
They look similar but one has tie straps and buttons down the side. And of course they will be mini dresses.
I picked out the top two fabrics for the patterns. The assorted nautical prints on the bottom I’m going to make into crop tops, and hair bandanas.
Blick’s art store is having a nationwide sale tomorrow, 25% off your whole order! I am taking advantage of it and buying the rest of my screenprinting supplies so I can start printing my new stock for my store and also plushies for a show in a couple weeks.
Bears and Cats
I’ve been watching the show, “United States of Tara” and the character Kate oddly dresses exactly like me, jumpers, knee socks, mismatched mini dresses. Last week she wore this adorable bear dress, harajuku style, on her way to teach English in Tokyo that I finally found online…..and it’s $260!?!
So sad.
I’m home this weekend and it’s great because I get to hang out with my cats. We will all be together when I move next month. I sound like a crazy cat lady.
I found my skirt I got in Harajuku and Sachi got stuck in it.

I finished this dress today. It has cute pleated pockets, and a scoop neckline.
I stocked up on ink for screenprinting animals and greeting cards tomorrow!
I love this book. Great inspiration for screenprinting fabric patterns.
